“Jesus is going to be the biggest headliner at this conference” when i heard those words, i knew i had to be a part. in a time with so many new trends, hot topics, and directions in KidMin, i just long for more Jesus. as exciting as all the aspects surrounding KidMin are, nothing brings me a more fresh perspective and passion than my Savior, Jesus Christ. how exciting to be able to get away for a few days with other people who serve in ministry and seek the face of Jesus. i get excited about the possibilities just typing those words. just think of the comfort, encouragement, healing, conviction, transformation, renewing, etc. that can come from a time when Jesus is at His deserving place – the very star of the conference. GLORY!
then there’s the unconventional, fresh style that group and children’s ministry magazine always deliver. or, i could also share my excitement about a time to really connect with other KidMin leaders through the authentic conversations at connect groups. plus there is the KidMin veterans that are slated to speak. i could go on and on, but to sum it up i am thrilled about this new conference coming october 7-10, 2011 to chicago.
